Description
The Chippewa Valley Free Clinic’s mission is to provide health related services to persons whose financial status impairs their access to health and medical services.
Anyone who comes to the Clinic needing medical care but lacks the resources to pay for it will be served. On the first visit, an interview with a social services volunteer will include a review of financial status and possible eligibility for other funded programs or insurance. If the individual needs support in applying for programs, volunteer social services staff can assist with the application process. If the individual has health insurance or medical assistance, he/she, will be asked to use those resources. If the patient needs assistance finding a physician, help will be provided.
