Description
MISSION: To promote the health of medically under-served children within the greater Roanoke Valley by ensuring comprehensive health care, strengthening families, and coordinating community resources.
POSITION: Children who have health have hope. CHIP provides health and hope to low-income families in the Roanoke Valley by:
***Helping under-served children maintain access to comprehensive health care and public health services;
***Measuring and monitoring healthy child development;
***Serving as a coordinated referral service to each enrolled child;
***Maximizing existing community resouces for the greatest social impact and economic value helping young children live healthier, more hopeful lives.
Target Population: Low-income pregnant women and children from birth to kindergarten-entry.
