Description

Chintimini Wildlife Center (CWC) is a non profit wildlife rehabilitation and education center located in Corvallis, Oregon. The center takes in injured and orphaned wildlife from all over the Willamette Valley. Volunteers provide surgeries, medical treatment, quality care, food, and housing until the animals are able to be released back into the wild. Chintmini also provides another vital resource to the communityl, through our Education Bird Program.
Some healthy Birds of Prey that are non-releasable for reasons such as blindness, imprinting, or an inability to fly
are residents of the wildlife center. These birds are the ambassadors of their species and accompany volunteers into many classrooms through out the region educating both children and adults. Chintimini also provides summer camps, on site events, and after school programs. It is part of our mission to allow children the opportunities to become naturalists and masters of the great outdoors.
