The Children's Initiative, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is known as a champion and catalyst for system reform and implementing effective policies/programs to address the health and well-being of children and families in San Diego County. The Initiative has proven to be an effective critical convener, bringing people, organizations and systems together to collectively improve health, education, safety and economic security of communities.
