Description
We are a 24 year old 501(c)(3) organization that with our chapters, provides 25 access centers in 11 states and Washington, D.C., where parents, usually court-referred, may peacefully transfer their children between them for the weekend, or for supervised access (visitation) on a Saturday morning. On Saturday mornings, the parent may not take the child home, because of a potential serious abuse or neglect issue, but chlid and parent are spending precious time together, until the larger issue can be worked out in the courts. This program helps children of separated, divorced, and never-married families.
