Description
Children's House is a child abuse and crisis intervention center providing long term treatment to abused and neglected children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years of age. The Children's House philosophy and approach addresses the psychological, developmental, social and physical deficits caused by abuse and neglect. Successful treatment will allow children to grow up to become productive members of society who will not abuse their own children. Children's House is the only center of its kind in the state of Arkansas. More detailed information is available on our website (see below). Children's House is a part of Economic Opportunity Agency of Washington County, Inc., a community action agency with an overall mission of eliminating poverty in Northwest Arkansas.
