Since 1984, Children's Miracle Network and Children's Hospital of Iowa have worked together to help the children and families who come to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for care. Children's Hospital of Iowa is one of 170 hospitals nation wide selected to participate in the Children's Miracle Network. Each year this network of premier facilities treat more than 14 million children suffering with all types of afflictions.

Children's Hospital of Iowa treats all children, regardless of the child's affliction or the family's ability to pay.

Locally, Children's Miracle Network has raised over $21 million from individuals, corporations, businesses, and civic groups in this region and each dollar raised stays at Children's Hospital of Iowa.
