CHCC philosophy operates on the premise that children should have a family. That family may be the birth family, it may be the extended family, it may be a foster family, it may be an adoptive family, it may be a group home family or it may be a combination of any of the above. We believe that all children deserve to know that those responsible for their care will, to the best of their ability, teach them, nurture them and care for them. We believe that children and their families respond to being treated fairly and respectfully. We believe our actions in dealing with children and their families should be fair, respectful, and ethical and handled in a confidential manner. Lastly, we believe that children are our future and our role is to help shape the future through their lives.
