Description
The Children’s Home is licensed by the Department of Human Resources to serve dependent, neglected and abused children ages 8 to 21. The Children’s Home serves children from throughout the state of Maryland who are victims of abuse, neglect, family breakdown, and/or are in need of supervised care. The agency carries out its client- and family-focused mission by providing an array of short- and long-term programs and services to Maryland’s youth: group home (including an extended living program), emergency shelter for girls, transitional program for boys, and treatment foster care program.
