Description

Founded in 1833, The Children's Center of Hamden provides services to over 170 children daily, including 100 children in residential programs on campus. They range between the ages of 3 and 18. The Residential children suffer from emotional, behavioral psychological and social problems, such as physical and/or sexual abuse; learning disabilities; substance abuse; and family trauma. An on-grounds school services our residential children as well as children who live in the ommunity and are referred by school systems.
