Description
Children’s Aid Society (CAS) is a private, non-profit child welfare agency committed to “providing hope and support to children, families, and communities to make their lives safer and more stable.” CAS was founded in 1885 to oversee the adoption of infants and placement of children in the homes of Montgomery County families. Today a provider of professional social service throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, our scope of assistance has expanded to incorporate an array of community, in-home, school based and prevention services as well as community development projects and collaborative partnerships. Last year Children’s Aid Society served over 3,422 children and families. CAS currently operate more than 30 programs in nine locations throughout Montgomery County, and several neighborhoods in Philadelphia.
