Description
Children First Academy Phoenix currently serves approximately 300 homeless and at-risk K-6 students in the greater metro Phoenix area. We implement research-based quality driven academics and social skills instruction. Our students are also clothed, fed and offered health and dental services on site. The statistics regarding homeless children are very alarming given the current economic crisis. In Arizona alone, we face an increase of 8% in homeless children. With 20,726 homeless students in Arizona, Children First Academy will not be able to break the cycle of homelessness alone.
