Description
A Child Advocacy Center serving child victims of sexual or severe physical abuse.
Child Safe adheres to the 'child first' policy of placing consideration of the child's needs first - above the family, the courts, the case or any other agenda. Child Safe coordinates investigations of abuse with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Children's Division, law enforcement, juvenile office, medical providers, mental health providers, victim advocacy and prosecuting attorney's office, thereby reducing trauma to the child caused by multiple, duplicative contacts with different professionals.
Our Mission is: To provide a comprehensive, culturally competent, multidisciplinary team response to allegations of child sexual abuse in a dedicated, child-friendly setting.
