Description

Child Development Support Corporation (CDSC) is a private, not-for-profit, community-based organization, established in 1975. CDSC began as a self-help group,
headed by parents, to provide childcare for families in the Fort Greene and Bedford Stuyvesant sections of Brooklyn. From its modest beginnings of providing the single service of on-site childcare, CDSC has evolved into a multi-service agency, providing a range of social services to families in Central Brooklyn.

Child Development Support Corporation has adopted as its motto, “Building Communities By Strengthening Families.” This motto is a constant reminder of CDSC’s mission to provide programs that empower families and help them to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for living in today's society.
