Description
The Child Center is a 501 (c) 3 serving over 16,500 children, youth and families a year in NYC. The Child Center transforms lives by protecting children from abuse and neglect, counseling children and parents impacted by mental illness and substance abuse, providing day care and other early childhood services, developing children and youth through after-school, peer lead youth leadership and education and specialized high school programs, and visiting homes to prevent psychiatric hospitalization.
