Every day in California, nearly 100 abused and neglected children enter foster care.
Child Advocates (www.cadvocates.org) trains and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children. Our volunteers work one-on-one with children in the foster care system, helping them thrive and find safe, permanent homes. Each of the agency's highly-trained volunteers is appointed by the court to work with an abused or neglected child, acting as a mentor and advocate for the child's best interests.
Our mission is to provide stability and hope to abused and neglected children by being a powerful voice in their lives. There are approximately 300 children in our local foster care system waiting for an Advocate.
