Description
Chicagoland Lab Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to saving, fostering and re-homing unwanted Labrador retrievers. Comprised entirely of passionate volunteers, we are committed to rescuing and finding forever homes for Labs in need.
CLR houses all dogs in foster homes where they receive love, attention and any medical treatment necessary as they are matched to an appropriate adopter. Prior to being placed with a foster home, the dogs are examined by a vet, spayed or neutered and brought up-to-date on shots.
Before CLR accepts any dogs into the rescue, they are evaluated for temperament and personality. This helps us to place them in homes that are well suited to their needs and to the needs of their future owners.
