Chicago Commons is a 115 year-old social service organization with its roots in the settlement house movement. From our founding, we have created programs in response to specific needs and ideas of neighborhood residents. Over the past 115 years, we have learned that the prosperity and development of urban neighborhoods is highly dependent on a host of trusting relationships - between teachers and students; parents and children; neighbors with neighbors; seniors and caregivers.
