Chicago City Theatre Company

about

Founded in 1974 as the Chicago City Theatre Company/Joel Hall Dancers, the Joel Hall Dancers & Center, as it is now known, represents a flourishing community that includes three multi-cultural performing troupes, a five-studio facility offering dance training seven days a week, and one of the most extensive dance education outreach programs in Chicago. The mission, and goals of the Joel Hall Dancers & Center (JHDC) are to use the arts to enrich the lives of its community members through dance education and performance. It reaches out to the community, targeting those who would not otherwise be exposed to the arts for classes, educational outreach programs and local, national, and international performances.
