Description
Thirty percent of the world's plants are threatened with extinction by 2050. The Chicago Botanic Garden has dedicated itself to an unparalleled effort to stem that tide. The Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Plant Conservation Science Center will provide state-of-the-art laboratories and teaching facilities for more than 200 Ph.D. scientists, land managers, students, and interns whose research is critical to fulfill the Garden’s efforts to save our planet, by saving our plants.
Each step taken in our mission to promote the enjoyment, understanding, and conservation of plants and the natural world could not be taken without the help of our closest Garden friends.
