Description
The Chesapeake Public Charter School has grown from the common interests of a group of parents, educators, and community members who find that they share a certain vision for education. They envision a school in which learning is an ever-expanding process that embraces the whole child. The program is designed to be academically rigorous yet guided by compassion and individuality. The founders plan lessons that are linked to the larger world, drawing on the wisdom in nature and the resources of our community.
