Description
Charlotte Emergency Housing (CEH) is a homeless shelter that began in 1985 when a need was seen for a shelter for families and single women, including the fathers and adolescent boys. CEH's mission is to end homelessness by providing opportunities through housing, support services, advocacy and collaboration.
CEH does this by offering families an individual room, private bathrooms, kitchen facilities, laundry facility, computer lab and an on-site childcare center. In addition, CEH offers families social work case management, family counseling, nursing services and transitional services for up to one year after a family has left the facility.
