Description
Charlie's Place is an outreach breakfast program housed at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Northwest Washington, DC.
The program at Charlie's Place works with the homeless population in Washington, DC, assisting and empowering individuals in the areas of physical and mental health, nutrition, employment, housing, education and other important linkages and services.
Our mission is one of empowerment, to encourage community, health, and independence among men and women who are homeless or poor in Washington, DC. In following the program mission, we work with, teach, encourage, model behavior, and help people to help themselves. The agency strives to promote justice, inclusiveness and the health of all people.
