Description

The Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA), a non-profit organization founded in 1965, develops and implements environmental science solutions and water protection policies that support sustainable fresh water resources. Our work has influenced federal and state government policy, developed national river water monitoring protocols and protects riverine habitats. To learn more about CRWA, visit www.charlesriver.org With climate change posing threats on water resources, CRWA’s research on smart growth in protecting aquifers and stream flow; and preventing polluted discharges into rivers is a heightened public priority. In addition to protecting all 80 miles of the Charles River its 308 square mile watershed and 35 towns CRWA is helping cities throughout the United States.
