CVFC is a private, non-profit organization, dedicated to the provision of substance abuse treatment, prevention, education, and related support programs to promote the well-being and quality of life for the residents of Clinton County, NY. Funds from Good Search will go to our Learn and Serve America & Mentoring Programs. Through these, students in local schools are matched with community members who help them make good, healthy choices. Students also take part in service projects to save the environment, help senior citizens, donate money to the food shelf, help animals in need and more. Through these, they learn lessons related to the state’s learning standards. Learn and Serve America is funded through a matching funds grant from the NYS Dept. of Ed. Other contributors include the Office of Child and Family Services and the United Way, but their contributions are not nearly enough. We rely on contributions from sources like to keep our programs running.
