Challenge Charter School will provide a sound educational environment grounded in the fundamental skills of hands-on, science oriented, academic core curriculum. The environment will be structured to optimize each student's opportunities so that all students will acquire a first-class education that will prepare them to be successful in the lifelong learning process. Schools should be expected to create a structure that provides more consistency for students in person, place, and more time on task.
Smaller classes and a lower student-to-teacher ratio can help provide a classroom environment that encourages significant personal interaction thereby enabling teachers and students to become support groups. This will help develop stronger student/teacher relationships and increased contact time enabling teachers to assume a more prominent role in the lives of all their students. Daily, organizational skills are imbedded into the curricular delivery approach.
