Description
We fund rigorously reviewed scientific projects and educational programs. We were founded in 1955 and since that time have stood for hope through research for all impacted by developmental disabilities.
Our founders included Leonard Goldenson, Dr. Houston Merritt, Mary Lasker and Jack Hausman. We supported the work that led to the Rubella Vaccine, treating neonatal jaundice and the fetal heart monitor.
Today we support bench to bedside (stem cell to robotic rehabilitation) highest quality research.
