PAWS (Promotion of Animal Welfare and Safety) is an organization of volunteers in Centre County, Pennsylvania, committed to providing humane solutions to our area's pet overpopulation. In order to care for these homeless cats and dogs and to promote responsible pet ownership, PAWS maintains a noneuthanasia animal shelter and administers a spay-neuter assistance program, an educational outreach program, and emergency medical aid funding
