Description

The Central Ohio Roller Dolls, a women's flat t track roller derby team, were established to provide a fun sport to promote empowerment and fitness for all women. As a roller derby team, we focus on providing entertainment to our fans, fitness, and fun for our members and to promote confidence for all women. This is our first season as an official team. During this time we have gone from a few interested players to a recognized league of over twenty women of all ages. As an established league we have competed against other teams throughout Ohio such as, Cincinnati Roller, Youngstown’s Little Steel Roller Girls, and Akron’s Rubber City Roller Girls, just to name a few. In the beginning of our season we have competed against the two teams in within our own league the Trauma Vixens and the Violet Offenders. We are proud to represent Mount Vernon and the surrounding towns as Central Ohio’s first and only roller derby team, made up of mothers, students, factory workers, nurses, and many other community members.
