Description
The Center of Independent Learning, Inc. porvides a supportive learning environment for students who need or prefer individual or small group instruction. Classes supplement a student's school-based or home-based educational program. Throughout the year, classes usually meet once a week, providing academic instruction and basic skills for school-aged children from kindergarten to eighth grade. Students are grouped according to level of ability and maturity. Since students have individual learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses, the program focuses on the individual's academic needs. Students attain self-confidence by experiencing success, strive to achieve goals that are agreed upon, and become life-long, independent learners.
