Center for LifeLong Learners

The Center for LifeLong Learners, a 40-year old nonprofit learning center provides afterschool homework help, math and reading tutorials, SAT prep, technology and adult literacy. Mission: to provide learning tools to individuals of all ages to achieve their highest potential at home, in school, the workplace and as proactive community members. We serve under privileged, under achieving youth and their families. Through the power of collaboration -- working with other organizations – we achieve our highest potential. The Center for Premature Infant Health and Development, USC, allows us to provide both education and health resources to children with ADD/ADHD and low memory retention. SAT prep is sponsored by Scripps College serving under privileged, high achieving youth to attain quality SAT scores to get into the college of their choice. Volunteers receive quality training through the Literacy Network of Greater LA.
