Description

The Center for Families and Children is a private, not-for-profit social services agency located primarily in Cleveland, Ohio, founded in 1970. CFC's mission is "strengthening community one person at a time by providing exceptional human services to foster hope, dignity, and purpose."
Our largest program is our Behavioral Health Services division, which provides community psychiatric support treatment services, family and individual counseling, and psychiatric services. CFC also provides childcare, programs for at-risk youth, parenting programs, and programs for formerly incarcerated individuals and their families. In addition, CFC is the lead agency for the Cleveland Heights/University Heights Family to Family Neighborhood Collaborative. Furthermore, our EASE@Work division provides employee assistance services to over 100 businesses, unions, and nonprofits across the state.
