Description
The Center for Education in Law and Democracy is a non-profit non-partisan educational organization offering programs for teachers and students through grants and contracts with national and state government and non-governmental organizations. The Center promotes and supports the development of responsible citizens committed to democratic principles and active participation in representative government.
CELD offers technical assistance to Colorado school districts interested in developing and enhancing civic education programs. Services include professional development for teachers, identification of resource people, curriculum design, and standards and assessment.
