Description

For the past 7 years, THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY DANCE has shaped the evolution of contemporary dance in Central Florida through inspiring productions, innovative programs and active community outreach. Home to five professional dance companies and a center for dance education, THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY DANCE is a recognized leader in arts education and contemporary dance performance.

Recently featured on PBS, THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY DANCE’s professional performance companies continue to exhilarate audiences with their power, grace and honest expression of emotion. Through powerful choreographic works of art, THE CENTER’s companies explore unique perspectives in the human experience, inspiring audiences to think, feel and reflect.

Dedicated to education, performance and outreach, THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY DANCE is the recipient of numerous grants and awards and continues to add new dimension to the Central Florida community’s artistic world-view.
