Description
The Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health uses the power of the internet and live videoconferencing technology to deliver high quality training for clinicians in resource-limited areas. Health care workers in developing countries often lack access to quality education. In collaboration with in-country partners, the training focuses on priority diseases such as HIV, TB, malaria and the preventable infectious illnesses in childhood. 'Health is wealth' and education of frontline clinicians needs to be a priority as it has a direct impact on the survival and quality of life of patients residing in the most poorest regions of the world.
