The Center for Autism Education is a non-for-profit agency providing education to students ages six to twenty-one. The Center is approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for students with autism and other developmental disabilities who have severe and challenging behaviors.
The Center provides education to students with autism and other developmental disabilities. The students placed at The Center all have very challenging behaviors. These students are aggressive to both staff and peers. Some of them exhibit severe self-injurious behaviors and display a lot of property destruction as well.
The Center is a year-round program and currently serves 9 school districts in Saint Charles county and surrounding counties.
