Description

The Cedar Bend Humane Society is the only full-service animal shelter in Black Hawk County. We are open to the public from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week, but we do not process adoptions after 4:30pm. The CBHS is a non-profit organization that could not exist without the support of people who donate money, time, and other gifts. To all those wonderful people, THANK YOU! As always, the CBHS is currently housing many cats and dogs looking for forever homes of their own. If you are a loving, committed home looking for an indoor pet, please stop in to visit with the shelter's animals and fill out a pre-adoption application. We adopt out our animals to be indoor companions for life. On behalf of all homeless animals, PLEASE DON'T LITTER, FIX YOUR CRITTER!
