Description

The mission of CEASE is to offer support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community, and to enable them to live violence free lives.

CEASE Provides:
SHELTER - CEASE operates 24-hour shelters in Morristown and Tazewell.

CRISIS HOT LINE - 423-581-2220 or toll free 800-303-2220, 24 hours a day.

COUNSELING - Trained staff answer your calls on the Crisis Hot Line, and CEASE staff are available for counseling sessions at anytime.

INFORMATION AND REFERRAL - Volunteers and staff are aware of services and willing to make referrals to appropriate resources.

LEGAL AND SYSTEMS ADVOCACY - CEASE has advocates who will accompany victims in legal, medical, and community systems.

SUPPORT GROUPS - CEASE offers support groups for victims who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault either recently or in the past. Support groups meet regularly in Hamblen and Claiborne counties.
