Description

Catholic Social Services (CSS) offers a variety of human services and is committed to "strengthening families and building community." CSS provides comprehensive individual, couple, family, and school counseling; adoption services; birthparent services; foster care services; senior employment and senior assisted living management services; a children's treatment center for abused and neglected children under the age of 12; and referral services. Responding to the needs of the people from all faiths and socio-economic levels for sixty years, Catholic Social Services serves the people of the 28 southern-most counties of Illinois. Offices are located in Belleville, Carbondale, Mt. Vernon, Mt. Carmel, and Olney. Catholic Social Services is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) for Children and Family Services for meeting the highest national standards of professional performance. In addition, CSS is licensed by the State of Illinois as child a welfare agency.
