Description
It is the mission of Catholic Charities San Bernardino/Riverside “to provide services that impact family, neighborhood, and society so that people’s lives are filled with hope”. It is the uppermost goal of the agency to significantly impact the lives of those who come to the agency by providing necessary social services in a manner that increases the health and stability of families. We view the alleviation of suffering as the first step toward renewed hope for a better future.
Catholic Charities provides services in numerous locations throughout the two-county area. Four departments of the agency are currently engaged in serving families. These departments are:
• Department of Community & Emergency Services
• Department of Caritas Counseling Services
• Department of Refugee & Immigration Services
• Department of Emmanuel Outreach Services
Special Programs of the agency include:
• “Hope For Youth” Programs & Activities
• Disaster Relief & Recovery Services
