Description
Catholic Charities of East Tennessee addresses the unmet needs of the most vulnerable of our region by providing counseling, shelter, nourishment and education in order to foster human dignity. Our agency provides these services to persons from all backgrounds and does not discriminate on the basis of any factor, in fact 95% of our clients were not catholic. We run on a 9% over head and were listed in the top ten of Charity Navigators agencies for fiscal responsibility. we served 17,000 people last year. We are attaining Council on Accreditation. We serve children in state custody, elders who have been abused or are homeless, as well as families and youth that are homeless.
