Catholic Charities is a 501(c)(3) family service agency that serves all people regardless of race, religion, age, disabiity or ethnicity. The agency provides adoptions services, pregnancy screening and counseling, short term foster care and free baby layettes to moms in need under it Child Welfare services. Clinical Counseling Serivces provides short-term focused counseling to individuals, families, couples and children. Family Life Education Services provides parenting classes, mediation services, pre-marital classes and alcohol 101 classes. A wide range of serivces are provided for senior citizens through Older Adult Services. From volunteers driving elderly to doctor appointments, providing minor home repairs to actual guardianship for seniors with no family, the agency is there to help the elderly with their needs. Consumer Credit and Housing Counseling Services and numerous support groups are available througthou Eastern Virginia.
