Description
Catalyst for Youth is a 501 c 3 public charity and educational corporation. It was created to help young people become emotionally stable, socially responsible, and physically healthy contributing members of society. Specifically it provides traditional and non-traditional education and training, resources, opportunities, marketing of skills and products, trained mentors, partnerships, and general charitable assistance creating a safety net for this at risk population while facilitating their emergence as contributing members of society. Its educational objectives include raising awareness about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FASD) and Fetal Alcohol Effects (FAE) and other factors that impair functioning and supporting rehabilitation for those incarcerated in the penal system.
