Description
The Coalition works to build a vibrant, sustainable food system by supporting farmers, educating consumers and building strong, collaborative community networks. We operate Puget Sound Fresh - a local product branding and consumer education program; WA FarmLink - a matching program linking new farmers with farm land owners; Farm to Table - a program designed to create market opportunities for farmers by creating networking opportunities for farmers and food buyers; Puget Sound Food Project - an effort to address the loss of local, scale-appropriate food processing infrastructure; and Harvest Celebrations - farm tours and other events providing opportunities for community members to connect with local farmers.
