Description
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are trained volunteers who are appointed by the court to represent the voices of children involved in the court system due to abuse and/or neglect by their parents. CASAs conduct their own independent investigation of a child’s circumstances and then provide fact-based recommendations to the court regarding a child’s health, safety, and permanency needs.
