At any time of the year in New Jersey, over 11,000 abused and neglected children are in foster care.
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers, working as part of a network of local, statewide CASA programs, ensure that these children, who are victims of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, or outright abandonment, have a voice in court proceedings that determine their fates.
CASA of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties (SHaW) is pleased to participate in the process of helping children in out-of-home placement (foster care), find a caring environment in which to grow and thrive -- because every child deserves to call someplace home.
Please look around our website to learn more about the important work of CASA within your county or to become a volunteer.
