Description
CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates - of Southeast Missouri serves the abused and neglected children of the 32nd judicial Circuit; Cape Girardeau, Perry and Bollinger counties. A CASA volunteer is an unbiased, consistent, caring adult dedicated to taking the time to fully evaluate a child's situation and represent that child's best interest while in the foster care system and in court. CASA volunteers become the eyes and ears for the judge and submit written reports regularly to the court. The CASA volunteer stays with the child's case until the child is placed in a safe, permanent home with hope of a positive future.
