CASA - New York City

about

New York City Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a unique, volunteer-based child advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth in foster care. These children are among the most vulnerable in the city, yet the agencies charged with serving them have historically been overloaded, and a child’s needs often overlooked. The mission of CASA-NYC has remained constant from the beginning: to protect the basic needs and well-being of children in foster care by facilitating appropriate treatment intervention and timely case resolution.
