Description
Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children: CASAs are trained volunteers who go through the court process with abused and neglect children. They are appointed by a Juvenile Court Judge to a specific case to investigate. They make recommendations to the court as to a child "best interest". CASA volunteers protect abused children from being further victimized by what is most often a confusing and frightening process. CASA is a child's "voice" in court
