Description
CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, is a nonprofit service that recruits, trains and supports community volunteers who advocate for youth in crisis. Our volunteers are ap-pointed by a judge to speak, in court, on behalf of society’s most vulnerable victims—abused and neglected children.
With GoodSearch help, we will be better able to support staff in order to provide emergency assistance for those children who are not currently being served. With adequate staff to effectively support dedicated volunteers, CASA will be able to rely on an expanded corps of trained, seasoned volunteers who can effectively serve abused and/or neglected youth and who will be “at-the-ready” when emergency situations arise.
Our judicial system lacks sufficient resources to adequately serve abused and neglected children—with GoodSearch support, CASA can directly respond to the needs of these children.
